Merritt Patterson is the actress who plays Ophelia on E!'s The Royals, born September 2, 1990 in British Columbia, is an actress, a model and a Canadian dancer.

She began her career in 2006, playing in a few episodes of Kyle XY series. Since October 2013, she played Olivia Matheson in Ravenswood, derived from the series Pretty Little Liars. She also played the role in the film DeBand Stacy Disney Radio Rebel (Rebel Radio).

Early LifeEdit

Merritt was born and raised in Canada. From an early age, she acquired a taste for the arts. From the age of eleven, she begins to learn the dance and continues through high school. It also theater and modeling. In 2006, she won the contest "Canadian Herbal Essences' Teen Model Search."


In 2006, she landed a small role in the series Kyle XY time two episodes by interpreting Ashleigh Redmond. She quickly gets small roles in films and series such as Supernatural, Life Unexpected, The Troop, The Hole and Percy Jackson. In 2012, she landed a role in the movie Radio Rebel Debby Ryan.

In 2013, she played Olivia Matheson, one of the main roles of Ravenswood, spin-off series Pretty Little Liars. It is broadcast since October 22, 2013 on the US channel ABC Family, the series was canceled in early February because of a lack of hearing.

The same year, she won a role in the movie Primary interpreting Sara Jasper, in the Wolves movie interpreting Angelina Timmins, and the Kid Cannabis movie interpreting Nicole Greffard and revel in the film interpreting Hera.

In 2014, she landed a role in the future movie Under The Apple as well as in the TV series The Royals.
